He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Barnhart and Bob Barnhart; his wife Sandra; his brother Robert; his half-brother Randy (Barb); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Joann and Dale.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy (Tony), Gord (Bonnie), Frank and Tim (Kelly). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
The family asks that instead of flowers, donations can be made in Jay's memory to the Tyendinaga Food Resource Centre, Kanhiote Library or a local historical society.
