He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Brant; his parents, Wilbert Brant and Harriette Brant; and his siblings, Alva Verna Luff and Garnet "Chief" Brant.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Steve), Scott (Susan), Tracy, Beth Amy (late Keith), Clayton (Opal), Kelly, Samuel (Rachel) and Alva (Kevon). He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-laws and his cousins.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Mohawk Pentecostal Church in memory of Clayton.
