She was predeceased by: her son Gordon Simmons; and her siblings, Clarence, David, Clemy, Viola, Edna, Elizabeth and Jamima.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Wadge (John), Cathy Hill and Balin Hill; her grandchildren, Brad Wadge, Molly Wadge-Truax, Emma-Jean Truax, Tracy Lynn Wadge and Jecht Winchester; her great grandchildren, Sundra Wadge, Caitlin Truax, Kieran Wadge and Rae Winchester; and her sister Madeline.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital in memory of Ada.
