She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Roy and Julia Morden (DeVos); and her parents-in-law, Marie Scott (Bob), Linda Morden, David Morden (Eileen), Rick Morden (Debbie), Sandra Baker (Brian), Richard Eechaute, Carl Eechaute, Elaine Cseszneki, Angela Weninger, Gloria Wybo, Linda Harvey (Ralph) and Ginny Wybo (Roger).
She is survived by: her husband Julien Eechaute; her son Matthew Eechaute (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Blake, Paige and Jill Braun (Jake); her great grandchildren, Lysa and Lindsey Walker (Matthew); and also, Dominic and Landon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
When COVID restrictions are lifted, a tribute in honour of Valerie will held.
