He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy McElhone (Rosehart) and Ted McElhone; his sister Betty Murphy; and his sisters-in-law, Rita McElhone, Joyce Stinsman and Wilma Kokoski.

He is survived by: his friend Dorothy McElhone (Evans); his children, Michael McElhone (Amanda) and Jason McElhone (Lori); his grandchildren, Morgan, Marissa and Myles; his siblings, Thomas, Patrick (Fran) and Paul (Norma); and his brother-in-law Stan Kokoski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Donations to the LaSalette Area Rural Roots (Church), Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
