He was predeceased by: his mother Elisabeth Kungl; his nephews, Stephen Kungl and Jack Wilson; and his niece Emma Wilson. He is survived by: his family, Gina Lozon (Rick), Tawynia Kungl and Shaun Kungl (Jacqui); his grandchildren, Matthew, Corey, Bryson, Kostin and Addison; his namesake Josef; his great grandchild Riley; his siblings, Peter (Catherine), John (Debbie), Mike (Lori), Annamarie and Suzie (Todd); and his father Josef Sr. Kungl.
