He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill Darlington (late Adeline), Elsie Darlington and Dorothy Kusch (late Patrick). He is survived by: his uncle Pennybags; his children, Laurie Thomson (Marc), Sandra Mattan (Darrell) and Steven Darlington (Janette); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig), Johanna (Bill), Victoria (Kyle), Andrew (Taylor), Taylor (Nicolina) and Didi (Justin); his great grandchildren, Jaden, Jaxon, Kaleb, Kaden, Kyler, Kwynn and Aylvia; his siblings, Joyce Owen (late Arthur), Sally Botzang (late Frank) and Barbara Rauscher (Kurt); and his close friend Bob Wardell. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or V.O.N. Sakura House will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
