It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Bernhardt of Delhi, Ontario, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Bernhardt to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Marjorie; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Van Every (Melvin) and Nikki Van (Randy); his grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Shelton, Daulton (Kenisha) and Shayleen VanEvery; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Macen Hie and Miles VanEvery; his niece Jennifer; and his nephews, Matthew and Timothy Bernhardt.

Donations to a local animal shelter or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

“I just learned today of John's passing. John has been a good friend of mine for 20 years. We just spoke on the phone a few weeks before his death, so it was a shock to hear the news. John was such a kind person who loved to lend a helping hand. He had a great sense of humour, and enjoyed a good laugh. He loved his dogs, Oden and Bear and the girls, and spoiled them rotten! I will miss John very much. All my heartfelt sympathy to the family.”
