He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Ireland; his parents, Donald Ireland and Marguerite Ireland; and his sister Ruth. He is survived by: his children, Roy Ireland Jr. (Leslea Ernewein) and Candace Faria; his grandchildren, Stuart, Jill, Jacob, Mattias, Preston and Harley; and his siblings, Janet Burtwistle (Ted), Don (Ruth), Jim (Jean), Eleanor Adams (Ron), Bill (Lois), Edie (Howie) and Lillian Lawrence (Gerald). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
