It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Nicholas Gerardus Buren of Delaware, Ontario, who passed away on December 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ida Schreurs, Lawrence Buren, Cays Buren, Rita Freeman, John Haakman, Jan Schreurs, Louis Lenssen, Edward Verhoeven and Frank Freeman; and his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Jacob, Zara and Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Buren; his children, Eileen Buren, Perry Buren (Manuela), Ron Buren (Samantha) and Peter Buren (Nicole Vritsios); his grandchildren, Jeremy O'Callaghan (Kelsey), Amber O'Callaghan (Lewis), James (Amanda), Callaghan, Caitlin O'Callaghan (Luke), Jake Buren (Laura), Luke Buren, Benjamin Buren (Céline), Ashley Koester (Cody), Jordan Buren (Spencer), Abigail Buren (Brandon), Seth Buren (Danica), Nicholas Buren, Tori Buren, Jack, Mara and Keiran; his sisters, Joyce Haakman, Dora Smeets (Lambert), Trudy Lenssen and Margaret Verhoeven; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Buren and Marlies Buren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and masks are required at all services.
