With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert William Rantz Jr. of Deep River, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his stepbrothers, Randy Crigger and Pearson Crigger. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Rantz (Pauline Rantz) and Helen Hayes; his sister Cathy Godin (Ottawa); his stepbrothers, Brent Crigger (Chalk River) and Bobby Crigger (Toronto); and his nieces and nephews, Darcie Phillips (Alex), Riley Godin (Sara Scott), Bryce Crigger, Cameron Crigger (Corey) and Makenna Crigger. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (605 Black Bay Rd, Petawawa, ON K8H2W8).

Donations in Robbie's memory may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of Dawson City.
