He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Donna Dawson) of Aurora, Richard Smith (Julie Pappin) and David Smith; his grandchild Simon Dawson-Smith; his sibling Sharon Smith of Hamilton; his great-nieces, Taylor Williton and Chelsea Smith; and also Wendy Smith of Hamilton.
