It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ahokas (Deep River, Ontario), who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Aksel Ahokas; her daughter Teresa Sayer; and her siblings, James, Denis Jones, Mae Allen and Joan.

She is survived by: her children, Andrew Ahokas (Dorothy) of Point Alexander, Victor Ahokas (Julie) of Ingleside, Anne Ahokas of Ottawa, Mary Ahokas of Kemptville, Margaret McConnell (Gregory) of Deep River and Joan Western (Timothy) of Ottawa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In memoriam donations to the Four Seasons Lodge, Deep River or the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre, Deep River would be gratefully appreciated.
