She is survived by: her husband Gordon Brown; her children, Heather Cartwright (Fabian Rucker) of Hamburg, Elliot Cartwright (Naz) of Hamilton and Gregory Cartwright (Lyndsay) of Hamilton; her grandchildren, Wahab, Sebastian, Oscar, Max, Matthew, Aydin and Ethan; her brother Gordon Howie (Barbara Shaw) of Deep River; and her sister-in-law Jeanie Vanderzon (Gerrard Vanderzon) of Ottawa.
