He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his son Brian Leakey; his parents, Wilford Leakey and Edna Leakey; and his nephew Mark Day.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Leakey (Phyl Durdey) of Caledon East; his grandsons, Brian and Tyler; his sisters, Nancy Myers (James) of Bath and Marie Day (David) of Kingston; and his siblings-in-law, William Pugsley (Emmaline Madigan) of Pointe, Baril and Dorothy Ferris (late Keith) of Lively. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
