George Lano Doubt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lano Doubt (Deep River, Ontario), who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Doubt (Lorna); his parents, Fosta Doubt (Matches) and George Doubt; and his son-in-law Kieran Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Joan Doubt (Klaas); his daughters, Jennifer Doubt and Emily Beedell (Dave); his grandchildren, Jillian, Anna and William Beedell; and his brother Doug Doubt (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (33337 Trans-Canada Hwy, Deep River, ON K0J1P0). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deep River Community Church (115 Deep River Rd, Deep River, ON K0J1P0). During the pandemic, Oh Canada sounded from their porch every Sunday.
