He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne Samms; his children, Adam Samms (Chanel Opala) of New Tecumseth, Ronald Samms (Sne Miletic) of Ottawa, Angelina Samms (Greg Langdon) of Edmonton and Jonathan Samms (Mary Nicolle) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Elena Hodder-Samms (Quinn Talbot), Amiyah, Aria, Carter, Sarah, Sabian, Arietta, Gabriel, Michael and Avery; and his brothers, Hector Samms (Annette) of Angus, Randy Samms (Cindy) of Sarnia and Dennis Samms. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In memory of Eric, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
