He was predeceased by: his siblings, Evelyn Dunn, Edith Doman, Helen Fields, Linda Felhaber, Carl, Milton, Rienhold, Dallas, Rodney, Harold and William Gutzman.

He is survived by: his spouse Eleen Gutzman; his sons, Neil Gutzman of Tweed and Brent Gutzman of Point Alexander; his grandchild Terri-Lea Gutzman; and his sister Elsie Riddell of Deep River.
