He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, George McQuade (Rose Beals) of Deep River, Gordon McQuade (Kay) of Peterborough, Barbara Polak (Don) of North Bay and Robert McQuade of Port Alberni, B. C; and his grandchildren, Amy, Skye, Karen, Keith, Jason, Jennifer, Emily and Tanya. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
