He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie Howe; his children, Rebecca Howe (Dan Koscinski) of Woodstock and Sam Howe (Samantha) of Toronto; his parents, Jim Howe and Doreen Howe; and his siblings, Laurie Cody (Doug) of Ottawa, Kathy Hauer of Sauble Beach, Wendy Crevier (Mike) of Dundas and Mike Howe.
