He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Lyons; his sons, Earl and Richard Lyons; his siblings, Ernie Lyons (late Helen), Hilda Glennie (late Jack) and Winnifred Fields (late Bernard); and his parents, Harold Lyons and Eva Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Lee (Brien) of Gatineau, Glenn Lyons of Deep River and Daniel Lyons of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Vasanta, Darius, Argos, Trajan Lee and Ceilidh Lyons Haddock; and his siblings, Mildred Egan (late Hulbert) and Lowe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
