He was predeceased by: his daughter Jeanette Tye; his grandson Nicholas Leibold; his parents, Theodore Leibold and Edna Leibold (Gaiser); and his siblings, Eugene Leibold, Fred Leibold and Ruth Woodhouse.

He is survived by: his children, John and Arron Leibold of Dashwood; his grandchildren, Cody Leibold, Jessica Jones, Deighan Crane, Alexander Leibold (Chelsey) and Dayna Tye (Steven); his great grandchildren, Tyson, Skylah, Millie Leibold, Dallas Tye and Beau Bierbaum; his siblings, Ray (Lillian Leibold), Helen (John Bowman) and Gloria Kowatsch of Stratford; and his friend Vonnie Morgan of Clinton.
