He was predeceased by: his wives, Mary Isobel Rader (Wilson) and Dorothy Rader (Finkbeiner); his parents, John L. Rader and Hilda Rader (Neuschwanger); his siblings, Earl Rader (June) and Doris MacGregor (Colin); and his sister-in-law Audrey Rader.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Cross (Dan Rock) of Parkhill, Barb Vella (Paul Wilson) of Woodstock, Brenda and Jeff Bennewies; his grandchildren, Meagan, Ben Halyk, Chelsea, Jordan Fagan, Shannon, Chris Seymour, Nick Rock (Sarah Kustermans) and Jordan Rock; his great grandchildren, Leah Fagan, Nicola Halyk and Jack Seymour; and his siblings, Floyd (Margaret Rader) of Dorchester, Lloyd Rader of Dorchester, Evelyn (Bob Miller), Roy, Marg Wilson of Centralia and Ron (Joyce Wilson). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home (118 Dashwood Main St, Dashwood, ON N0M 1N0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (148 Frederick St, Dashwood, ON N0M1N0).
Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church or charity of Choice would be appreciated.
