She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Bertrum Hayter; her son Richard Hayter; her parents, Elda Catherine (Kraft) and Ernest "Ernie" Koehler; her sister Barbara Martene; and her siblings-in-law, Theada Bruce, Reta Snider, Grace Beavis, Frieda Hayter, June Hayter, Dorothy Vandahl, Gerald Martene, T. Harry Hayter, James Hayter, Joseph Bruce, John Snider, James Beavis and Earl Vandahl.

She is survived by: her children, John Hayter (Judy) of Dashwood, Kathy Hayter (Wells) of Dashwood, Jeff Hayter of Toronto, David and Vicki Hayter of Lucan; her grandchildren, Matthew Hayter, Anne Socholotiuk of Dashwood, Miranda Hayter of Lucan, Melissa, Jeff Campbell of Lucan, Mackenzie Hayter of Whistler, BC and Jacob Hayter of Lucan; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Brianna, Evan, Liam, Rachael, Bennett, Aadan, Kylie and Ashton; and her sister Anne Baynham of Oshawa. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
