She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Basarab and Mary Basarab; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Xerri, Peter Pedreschi and Mary (Tony Vella).

She is survived by: her husband Angelo Lawrence Xerri; her daughter Regina Xerri (Greg Marchand); her grandchildren, Kristina Vieth (Eric) and Mary-Catharine Freeman; her great grandchildren, Wilhelm, Charlotte and Philip Vieth; her sister Bernice Pedreschi; her siblings-in-law, Teresa (Manuel Mizzi), Carmen Xerri and Paul Xerri (Nancy); and her nieces and nephews, Carmen, Sylvia, Joanne, Michelle, Phyllis, Margaret, Josephine, Sonia, Anthony, Sammy and Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
