Brian Frederick Young Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Frederick Young (Dashwood, Ontario), born in London, Ontario, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kristine; his daughters, Kimberley Young Milani (late Glen) and Tricia Young; his son-in-law Corey Short; his granddaughters, Fiona and Evangeline; his stepgrandchildren, Christian, Colin, Corey and Montana; his parents, Frederick Young and Muriel Young; his brother David; his half-brother Tom (Ann); his mother-in-law Nellie Ausrotas (late Jurgis); his brother-in-law Richard Ausrotas (Stina); his cousin Birute Carr (Tim); his nieces, Cathy (Danny), Sheri (Darren), Tammy (Mike) and Kristi (Rob); his nephew Brad; and his friends, Lee Attard (Linda) and Jack Nelligan (Sue).

For his dedication to this issue, the Brian Young Award was established and is given annually to a member of the London community in recognition of their contributions to protecting area seniors and increasing elder abuse awareness.
