He was predeceased by: his parents, Dougal and Sadie; and his brother Hugh. He is survived by: his sister Linda Thompson; his nephews, Perry Thompson (Tricia), Jeffrey Thompson and Darwin Thompson; his great-niece Sadie Thompson; and his great-nephew Zander Thompson.
