He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton and Dorothy; his siblings, Arlene Taylor, Wilma Jacobs-Taylor (Winston), Jack Whetung and Willard Jacobs; and his sisters-in-law, Beth and Sandy Jacobs.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jacobs (Irons); his sons, Marc (Terri) of Peterborough, Russell (Lori) and Duane (Tanya); his nephew Jeremy Irons (Michelle) of Curve Lake; his grandchildren, Grant, Kristopher, Bryerson, Jayden, Russell Jr., Louis, Nathalie, Katryna, Nolan, Karlie, Arieana and Cruz; his great grandchildren, Maddison, Dawson and Rowan; his siblings, Mel of Curve Lake, Ken of Curve Lake, Leland Jacobs of Curve Lake and Katherine Knott of Brantford; his sister-in-law Donna Whetung of Curve Lake; his friends, Janice and Jordy; and his godsons, Wes and Sam Coppaway.
