He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Flack and George K. Blackburn; and his wife Doreen. He is survived by: his children, Bill and Lynne (Hans); his granddaughters, Sarah (Kris) and Sydney (Kris); and his friend Joan Morby.
Being housebound during the Pandemic, he managed to reach out to many friends near and far via phone to stay in touch.
