She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McAdam and Kathleen McAdam. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Rob, Teresa (Brent) and Patricia (Brian); her grandchildren, Amber (Tom), Claire, Lauren, Benjamin and Oliver; her great grandchild Oliver; and her siblings, Jackie (Don), Brian (Helga) and John (Maria).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation be made in her memory.
