He was predeceased by: his children, Janice Pitel and Bradley Pitel; his grandson Tyler Pitel; his parents, Yoytech Pitel and Ludvena Pitel; and his brother Louis Pitel.
He is survived by: his spouse Elaine; his children, Kevin Pitel (Debb) of Rutherford and Lisa Killah (Troy) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Michael, Tanner (Hannah) and Conner; and his sisters, Helen Misek of Sarnia, Mary Corbett and Margaret Bryce.
