She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Martel (Marty); and her parents, Alma Norwood and John Norwood. She is survived by: her children, Lenna Hunter (Wayne) of Bobcaygeon, Patricia Martel of Cornwall, Leonard Martel (Nikita) of Hanover and Starr McBride (James) of Whitby; her grandchildren, Ryan Pelley (Gwen), Mitchel Hunter, Scott Kenyon, Jenny-Lynn Rudd (John), Rachelle Rudd (Predeceased), Rebecca Mendez (Gabe), Ashley Todd (Kyle), Madison McBride and Alexander Martel; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Malachy, Riley, Braydon and Owen; and her siblings, Vivian McLaughlin of Ramara, Beverly Heron of Oshawa, Adeline McLellan and Dwayne St. John.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
