He was predeceased by: his stepson Mark Sauve. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Johnson (Morin); his son Timothy Johnson (Mary); and his stepchildren, Carole Sauve-Fallon (Patrick) and Allan Sauve (Donna). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
