He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda Waugh; his children, Penny Lavoie of Hawkesbury and Dan Lavoie of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Cole Lavigne, Noah Waugh, Oakley Waugh, Liam Bigras, Eli Waugh and Ella Waugh; his sister Penelope "Penny" Lavoie of Cornwall; and his parents, Maurice Lavoie and Estelle Lavoie.
