He was predeceased by: his wife Marina Aitken (Wilson); his former wife Darleen Aitken (McGee); and his parents, Thomas Aitken Sr. and Helen Aitken (Poapst). He is survived by: his children, Robert Aitken (Manjit), David Aitken (Donna), Susan Poirier (Chris) and Heather Sheehan (Robert Thomas); his grandchildren, Lucy, Andrew Aitken, Allister, Katie Aitken, Brandon, Kyle, Jonah Poirier, Greer Wright and Ann Thomas; his great grandchildren, Luke Poirier, William and James Wright; and his brothers, Alex Aitken (Lois) and Jim Aitken (Norma).
Memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Jays Care Foundation (to support the development of baseball in Canada) would be appreciated by the family.
