He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lalonde and Catherine Lalonde (Paquette); and his siblings, George, Leonard, Harvey, John, Edgar, Wilfrid, Moise, Eileen Hamill (late Glen), Ella Walker (late Herbie), Rose Contant, Thérèse Lavictoire and Louise Dupuis.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Lalonde (Mayer); his children, Gisele Fogherty (Dan), Claude Lalonde (Lorraine), Roger Lalonde (Martin), Norman Lalonde and Marc Lalonde (Mary); and his grandchildren, Joanne, Kim, Angele, Josée and Yanick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
