DESJARDINS, Sylvia Lea – on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the age of 82 years. Loving mother to Robert Labelle (Joanne), Carmen Labelle, and Richard Labelle. Cherished grandmother to Zack Labelle (Leslie) and Cole Labelle, and great-grandmother to Tyson and Blake Labelle. Dear daughter of the late Donat and Cécile Martin (née Godard). Survived by brother, Michel Martin (late Diane). Predeceased by sister, Rita Leger (late Marcel) and brother, Reynald Martin (Pauline). She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Sylvia was a proud, long time employee of Woolco. Crocheting and knitting were Sylvia's expertise. She shared her latter years with the late Bob Leroux, whom she adored. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). Cremation. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
