He was predeceased by: his spouse Lesley O'Gorman; and his parents, Stuart O'Gorman and Jane O'Gorman. He is survived by: his children, Sean O'Gorman and Shelagh O'Gorman of Ingleside; his grandchildren, Lily Smith and Fiona Smith; his siblings, Edward O'Gorman (Sarah), James O'Gorman (Shirley), Glen Hamilton and Kathy Dunlop; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia, Michele, Peter, Jo, Liz and Jane Royal.
