She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexander Thomson and Doris Thomson. She is survived by: her husband Ken Brewin of Cornwall; her sons, Ian Brewin (Jennifer Abbott) of Beaconsfield and Michael Brewin (Susan Racco-Brewin) of Barrie, Ontario.; her grandchildren, Holly Abbott-Brewin (Andrew Farag), Lauren Brewin and Ethan Brewin; and her sister Carole Libbey (Wes) of Cornwall.

Memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice or to the McGill's School of Nursing would be appreciated by the family.
