She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Lough; her son Derek; her parents, George Passant and Florance Passant; and her brother Leonard Fortin (Nicole).
She is survived by: her children, Heather (late Louis), Joanne (Kenny), Susan Bassanese (Dean "Dino"), Cindy (John), Scott and Janine; and her siblings, Martin Fortier and Gail Lemieux (late Regis). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Following the service, Shirley's ashes will be lovingly interred in North Branch Cemetery In honor of Shirley's memory those wishing to make a donation are encouraged to support a charity close to their hearts or to the community of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
