He was predeceased by: his brother Allan Carson; and his parents, William Carson and Hilda Carson. He is survived by: his siblings, James Carson, Dennis Carson, Beverley Carson, Heather Carson, Darlene Carson, Iris Dupuis (Marcel) and Esther Currier (Howard); and his sons, Allan and Christopher Carson. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
