He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Irene; and his siblings, Norma (Raymond), Claude and Raymond (Gail).

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Ronald (Sarah) of Monkland, Janice (Shawn) of Newington and Laurie of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Courtney (Marc), Chandler (Destiny) and Ethan; his great grandchild Finnley; his siblings, Dwayne (Marriette) of Cornwall, Jerry (Darlene) of London, ON and Lillian of London, ON; and his sister-in-law Bernadine. He is also survived by family and play with his grandchildren and great-grandson.
