He was predeceased by: his son Luc Mercier (Robert); his parents, Eugene Mercier and Simone Mercier; and his siblings, Roland Mercier, Robert "Pete" Mercier, Richard Mercier, Maurice Mercier, Michel Mercier and Rollande Gibeault-Poirier.
He is survived by: his children, Andre Mercier (Assitan), Pierrette Kingsberry (Jacques), Guy Mercier and Roger Jr. Mercier (Julie); his grandchildren, Christian, Crystal, Jason and Lexi; his sister Diane Mercier (Stephane); and his sister-in-law Verna.
