He was predeceased by: his parents, Cameron and Lena (Lepansee); and his sisters, Anita and Norma. He is survived by: his wife Helene Terriah (Cleroux); his children, Andrea and Matthew (Tina); his granddaughter Sydney; his stepchildren, Karen Heffernan (Pat), Craig Rae (Agnes) and Kristine Rae (Dan Low); his stepgrandchildren, Meghan, Kristopher, Emily and Alex; and his brothers, Omer (Alice), Gerald, Robert (Debra) and Brian (Sue).

The family requests that those wishing to remember Roger, do so through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
