He was predeceased by: his parents, Francois Xavier and Léonie Bissonnette (Léger); and his siblings, Laurent "Tex" (Nicole), Yvon (Rachelle), Richard (late Donalda) and Rachelle.
He is survived by: his wife Cécile Caron; his children, Mike, Dan (Lynn), Ron (Elsie), Marc (Jo-Ann) and Lise Hunt (Dan); and his siblings, Colombe Patenaude (late Florient), Thérese Caron (late Ronald) and Denise. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St Joseph's Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
