He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Alarie and Irene Paquette; and his siblings, Florence Gauthier, Denise Blanchette (late Ron), John and Fernand (late Pauline).

He is survived by: his wife Jocelyne Paquette; his siblings, Gilbert (Thérèse), Rodolphe (Terry), Michel (Louise) and Irène Pilon (Dan); and his nieces, Angel Blanchette, Julie Paquette and Mercier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
