He was predeceased by: his grandson Patrick; his parents, Frank Miller and Rose Miller; and his siblings, Jack, Frank, Dorothy Miller, Irene Hazelton, Frances Montgomery, Rose McGregor and Margaret Varin.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Miller; his sons, Brent (Karen) and Scott (Diana); and his grandchildren, Shawna Rousseau (Kristopher), Sarah Ballantyne (Carson), Alex, Hannah Mae and River Margaret.
