He was predeceased by: his wife Yvette Belanger; his son Richard; his parents, Gerard Belanger and Reta Marquette; and his brother Donald Belanger.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Garner (Adrian) of Cornwall and Anne Belanger of Summerstown; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Jordan, Joshua, Lexi, Macyn, Reece, Blake, Miah and Elliott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
