He was predeceased by: his siblings, Annette Duperron, Yvon Besner and Claude Besner. He is survived by: his children, Michel Besner and Julie Besner; and his siblings, Richard Besner (Denise) of Cornwall, Daniel Besner (Ghislaine) of Cornwall, Bernard Besner of Cornwall and Micheline Piper (Bill) of Brantford.
