She was predeceased by: her spouse Niels Nielsen; her grandchild Thomas (Nina); her parents, Johannes Christensen and Sabine Marie Vestergaard; and her siblings, Knud, Egon, Frode (Kirsten), Lissie Skjoldlund (Vagn) of Denmark and Yrsa Adolfsen (Erik) of Denmark.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Nielsen (Holly), Diane Nolan, Janet van Duynhoven and Nina MacDonald (Sandy); her grandchildren, Kiel, Kayla, Kristen (Kim), Carter, Callum, Macauley, Kaden, Adam (Diane), Jacob, Madison (Janet), Christopher and Sam; and her siblings, Erling Christensen and Kirsten Peterson (late Heinrick).

Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
